Hola from Kristin! After our adventures yesterday, we are all tired. I took as many naps as Josh did and we only left the hotel for a brief walk to the grocery store. It is nice not to worry about the usual things in life- work, laundry, meals, etc... I know, I know- enjoy it while I can! Tomorrow is- yep, you guessed it- pancake day and then off to the flea market. There is apparently a bigger and better one that is farther away that we will venture to tomorrow. Right now, Chad is trying to get the DVD player to work in one of the family rooms so that we can watch a movie with anyone else that is interested. Josh is asleep and we have a baby monitor along. It will be nice to be out of bed for a little while!
Keep praying for Sentencia!!

So how did that 6:00 p.m. bedtime work out for Josh (and the two of you!) after your trip to Monserrate on Friday? Hopefully Josh wasn't up at 3:30 a.m. ready to start his day!!
After seeing your pictures of Bogota and Monserrate, I have now added Colombia to my long list of places that I would love to visit someday. (Maybe it has something to do with the mountains...not too many of those in WI.) In the meantime, thanks for letting me tour Colombia vicarously through you. Enjoy your Sunday pancakes and trip to the flea market! We're praying that next week will bring news of the Sentencia so that you can truly begin the process of bringing Josh home!
Love, Amy D.
Hi Guys,
Hope you are enjoying your pancakes this morning.. Those pictures from your trip up the mountain are beautiful. Well home coming is over... we won, but it was the closest game Waunakee has had in a long time but "DeFoe" went down. It was also a beautiful day yesterday for Badger football, which we won, close there also. Kait and her date Alex watched the end of the game before heading off to dinner and the dance. Its another beautiful morning today...I hope the new Schulke family is in church this morning. We got to see pictures. What a cutie he is. We are praying that things go well with Sentencia and you will get to come home soon and we can see the whole family. Love to the three of you.

happy pancake day!! wouldn't it be neat if you guys continued the tradition of pancakes every sunday even when you get home in honor of your experience there in bogota?? we just might implement the same tradition in the mudlin house! : )

Hi KB, Chad and Josh-
So happy that you get to see some of the beautiful country while you wait. We are praying for Sentencia to happen quickly. Your new nephew looks like a handsome little guy. The pic of Josh today is so sweet. He has such a beautiful face--can't wait to see him in person. We have had another beautiful week-end in Wis--worked at Octoberfest yesterday for Trinity---sold turkey sandwiches and chicken fried rice, with our partners, the Chinese Christian Church. Also brought home the best caramel apples AND cream puffs--the food at Octoberfest is amazing. Packers beat the Vikings today--the Pack is now 4 and 0. Lots of celebrations here. Take care---we love you and miss you Ron and Mary
hey hey hey!
Good to hear you had a relaxing day. So I figured you'd want an update: saturday almost all day I was cleaning (like I had said before) and then it was back to my house to get ready for homecoming with one of my friends. Homecoming was soo much fun... my feet hurt so badly afterwards though. I was up until 1:45am and then had to get back up this morning for Cloey + Mikki (I was so tired, I walked over to your house in my pj's),then went to church took 1 of 2 naps and then sat around. Cloey got to play with Wally today because I had nothing to do so I decided that they would enjoy eachothers' company. Well tomorrow starts another school week and I have sleep to catch up on ;) Enjoy the pancakes! Hope this next week brings you Sentencia.
Laura,Cloey,and Mikki
