Hola from both of us! We sit here in our hotel room, tired after a lot of fresh air today. Both Chad and I have pink noses! We did indeed enjoy our pancakes this morning and then walked to a different flea market.

As we have said before, on Sundays, some of the main roads are closed in one direction to traffic. Bikers, rollerbladers, and walkers fill the streets. The people in Bogota are usually dressed up (compared to us anyway) and it is nice to see some shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes! We don't stand out as much these days.

I took a picture of the flea market- it looks very similar to what we have in the US. There are a lot of handmade items and we hear many different languages as we walk around. Josh rode in the stroller and seemed to enjoy the wind and the sights. After lunch back at the hotel, we headed out again. The family from Delaware and the family from New York came with us. We hit a different flea market and enjoyed another beautiful day in Bogota.
After we got back from our second walk of the day, we enjoyed Josh a little too much. He probably should have been sleeping, but instead Mom and Dad couldn't put him down. He's getting cuter each day and makes the greatest sounds! We can tell that he is getting stronger all the time, and he's holding his head up better each day. He can handle longer tummy times without complaint. He seems to like standing up, sitting up with help, and in general, being moved around in any way that makes him laugh. We had to give him some alone time to calm down and now he's fast asleep.
Keep praying for Sentencia! We're ready to come home!!

Hi Guys!
Just got all caught up on the past few days events...it sure sounds like you are keeping busy and settling into a routine...but I can tell that you're very anxious to come home. You've been gone for a long time! We can't wait to talk to you and to meet cute little Josh!!! We're praying that you'll be coming home very very soon! We've been busy around here...we FINALLY finished our landscaping project and we're thrilled with how it looks, but man-oh-man what a project it was! Luckily we had a good crew to help us out! Claire and Mark are doing well...Claire just loves pouring kisses and hugs all over Mark and he loves to smile and laugh at her. Claire has started her dance lessons and when she "practices," Mark just loves to watch her jump all over the place! :) Mark is "talking" up a storm...we just love to hear his little voice! We're heading to Michigan in a few weeks (7 hour car ride WITHOUT stops...so it will take us a few days to get there...haha!) to visit my Grandma. She's turning 88 on October 8! We're going to stay in a nice hotel with a pool so that we can take Claire swimming a bunch. I'm super excited about it! The last time we saw my grandma, Claire was 9 months old! Claire talks and sings to Grandma on the phone whenever I call her, but it will be so much fun to actually SEE Grandma for a few days. This coming weekend we're heading to UWEC for Homecoming...so I'll be thinking of you guys even more as I remember all of the fun we had together at good ol' UWEC. :) Claire loves to hear stories about when I was a "little girl" (which pretty much means anything that happened before Claire was born), so I'll be telling her some funny college stories this weekend for sure! :) Maybe we'll even go inside Governors Hall so that I can show her our old dorm room, Kristin! :) And we'll have to drive by the tatoo parlor...home sweet home. :)
we're praying. really haven't stopped.
SO thrilled you're enjoying your time of bonding together. LOVE hearing about the changes you're seeing in him already. keep watching his face. i know that sounds silly but it seemed that our boys' faces would change literally overnight sometimes. jeff would go to work, come home, take one look at zach or seth and say "whoa. he looks different today." and i'd say "I KNOW!!!" it goes by THAT quickly.
love and hugs to you guys.
